ISLAMABAD: Under the aegis of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF), the Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship is set to begin on August 8 at the Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold Mall, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad. PTBF President Ijaz Ur Rehman stated that preparations for the championship are already in full swing. He highlighted that male and female athletes from across the country will participate in the prestigious event. The championship features eight diverse categories, including: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles, Amateur, Deaf Men’s Singles, Deaf Ladies Singles, Team Event.
The final matches of the championship will be played on August 14, coinciding with Independence Day celebrations. Prizes and trophies will be distributed among the winners at the concluding ceremony.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation has been organizing this annual event since 2003 to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day.
